James E. Kiehl, DMD

Dr. Kiehl earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Johns Hopkins University, followed by his dental degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. To further his expertise in business management and establish his own practice, Dr. Kiehl earned an MBA from Boston University School of Management.

Backed by 25 years of dental experience, Dr. Kiehl opened Southcoast Dental in 2022. He is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to the coastal community, stating, “First and foremost, I want to serve my community, the team second, and myself last.”

Coming from a family of teachers, Dr. Kiehl considers himself both an educator and a practitioner. Dr. Kiehl leverages his diverse leadership experience and education to contribute to solving business problems, as well as treating patients. In addition to being a proud SureSmile® provider, he is a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
